Welcome to Fall 2017!!

Student Access and Educational Equity welcomes you back to Rutgers University – New Brunswick for the 2017-2018 Academic Year. We hope that the new year brings both new hope and renewed enthusiasm for the year ahead. We anticipate that you had a rewarding and enjoyable break and that you are ready for new challenges and opportunities.

As we begin the new semester, we have the opportunity to welcome new students, renew acquaintances, and celebrate our accomplishments.  This summer SAEE hosted over 500 students through the summer programs within the School of Arts and Sciences EOF Program, the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences EOF Program, Upward Bound & Upward Bound Math-Science Programs, the Ronald E. McNair Program and the Student Support Services Paul Robeson Leadership Institute as a part of RU-1st. Click the photo above to see photos highlighting the summer experience.

SAEE is a dynamic and diverse community made up of faculty, staff and students from our nine offices. Our mission and passion is helping students reach their fullest potential. We are breaking old molds and creating vibrant new ones. We are preparing students for the global market, not just preparing them to graduate. Students here realize that challenging academics and innovative internships are paramount to achieving success.  If you need to speak with an advisor about anything from your FAFSA to personal development for your success you can visit the A-wing of Lucy Stone Hall’s 3rd Floor for RU-1st Open Advising September 5-12th!  Students also know that being involved on campus is an important part of making connections and building friendships. We hope to see you at our events this school year, beginning with the SAEE Fall Welcome on September 22, 2017 on the Livingston Lawn.

If you have any questions or need to contact Dean Manning or Ms. Holman, you can reach us by email at saee@echo.rutgers.edu or by phone at 848-445-4014
